Guest Speaking terms and Conditions


The Speaker’s presentation includes a speaker fee, accommodation, meals and travel expenses.

The Speakers motorcycle and trailer are an integral part of the business and presentation. If the Speaker is riding to the event, travel expenses both ways (mileage) will be charged at .66 cents per kilometer.

If the Speaker is required to fly, all bookings and payment of flights will be paid for by the Business prior to travel dates.

Please note, flights offering the best arrival, departure and connection times must be prioritised.
If Jetstar is the preferred carrier a $15 meal voucher must be included when booking a ticket.

Additional costs occurred for ground travel such as taxis by the Speaker will be paid for by the Business.

Any additional activities the Speaker is invited to attend, for example an event dinner, will be paid for by the Business.

Paperback copies of the Speakers book Fat Bob and the Blonde – Girl Torque can be preordered for gifts or lucky door prizes for the event. Books are $29.00 each or $24.99 each for an order of 10 or more books.


On booking confirmation, the Business will pay a 50% deposit of the Speakers fee into a nominated bank account.

On conclusion of the Speakers presentation, the Business will pay the Speakers invoice in full (minus the deposit) by electronic bank transfer.

If, due to illness, accident, or other causes legally known as Acts of God, the Speaker is forced to cancel neither party, shall be liable for any payment. The Speaker will refund the deposit also.

If the Speaker does not appear or perform to the terms of this Agreement, then the speaker shall be responsible for the payment of all damages, costs and expenses that were brought upon the Business due to the speaker not showing up for the presentation.

Also, the Business shall not be responsible for any payment if the Speaker fails to give the presentation due to conditions that are beyond the control of the Speaker, for example medical disability and or an act of God that is outside of the speaker’s control.

Promotion and Equipment

The Speaker will provide photos and biography for the conference promotional materials within 5 days of booking confirmation.

The Business will provide the Speaker with a booking sheet containing the event’s details – program, venue, location along with any accommodation details.

The Business will provide the speaker a suitable area near the presentation for the Speaker to display, sell and sign books.

The Business will provide a laptop computer, projector, screen, automatic slide advancer and microphone for the Speakers presentation.

If the Business does record the Speaker’s presentation a copy of the recording shall be given to the speaker approximately thirty days following the presentation. Copies of the recording of the Speaker’s presentation may be maintained by the Business for the sole use of its employees internal viewing only.

No other audio taping or video taping of the Speaker’s presentation shall be permitted without prior authorisation by the Speaker.

Refunds Policy


Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase – PayPal or Square Point of Sale

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted

Book with obvious signs of use.

T-shirts with obvious signs of having been worn.

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at heather@fatbobandtheblonde.com and send your item to: PO Box 82 Coolamon NSW 2701.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.


To return your product, you should mail your product to: PO Box 82 Coolamon NSW 2701

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
